This is how I handle food and cooking:
– Friday nights: make meal plan using app
– Saturdays: go to 4 grocery stores, which saves me money
– Sundays: cook dinners for Sunday through Thursday

This also makes lunches for the following day. It usually works out great as long as one of the links in the chain doesn’t come unlinked.

For instance this week’s prep: I planned to make as tonight’s dinner, cauliflower crust bread sandwiches and caesar pasta salad.  What was I thinking?  This alone wouldn’t be bad, but I was also making 2 other dishes for later in the week.  That cauliflower crust bread did not happen.

Moral of the story is to plan in accordance to your energy level and plan realistically. You’ll be much more successful!
